Bring your family and friends to worship this week

At worship on Saturday, October 27, two young people of Crossroads will celebrate their confirmation day.  They will affirm the promises of Baptism, namely that God’s love had a hold on their lives.  We rejoice with Jane and Farrah, their families, and one another  on this beautiful day.

Hearts for the Homeless

This year we are excited to join forces in Bible study with a similar study that has taken place at St. Paul’s.  We will be studying core stories from the Bible, digging deeply into the most important 40+ scripture passages. This is a new and a renewed time…continuing to study and grow in faith with people we know well and others we don’t know as well.  If you’ve ever wanted to begin Bible study but weren’t sure if it is for you, come and give it a try.  We would love to welcome you! Coffee and Timbits will nourish our bodies, as community and faith development nourish our hearts and minds.

We are invite people of all ages, both children and adults to be part of Sunday school.  We all can learn from one another, so YOU are invited to discover and learn more about some of the key stories of our faith.  Sunday school will meet every other Sunday throughout the year. Families are welcome to stay for worship afterwards at 10:15. We'll be utilizing the Holy Moly! curriculum again this year. In the Fall we will focus on stories from the Hebrew Scriptures or Old Testament, beginning with the story of Deborah, a wise judge who, with God's help, aided her people to victory!

The Daily Bread Food Truck's engine caught fire last month. The truck feeds hungry families in Amherst.  The community is coming together to help the owners of a local food truck, which caught fire. This one is a bit different than the ones you normally see over at Larkin Square because it's dedicated to feeding low-income families.  "I miss our little old truck, but I know there's bigger and better things coming," said Steve Biegner.  Click here to see the entire story from WGRZ TV.
